Trump says he’s giving Hamas "3 to 4 days" to respond to Gaza plan

Hamas militants gather in Khan Yunis, on February 20, before the handing over of the bodies of four Israeli hostages.

President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday that he is giving Hamas “three to four days” to respond to the Gaza peace plan he outlined beside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a day earlier.

“We’re going to do about three or four days. We’ll see how it is. All of the Arab countries are signed up. The Muslim countries are all signed up. Israel is all signed up,” the president said as he left the White House.

Pressed by CNN’s Alayna Treene on the timeline, Trump said that if Hamas does not agree to the deal, it’s going to be a “very sad end.”
